Another reason is to store online a weekly crib sheet with information that I have learned and possibly other people might use as reference material. Standard disclaimer applies of course!! For some of the courses I did on my OU MBA people posted very helpful summaries and I decided I would do something similar for this course.
For the one pager crib sheets I plan to keep them fairly simple. One part will be new vocabulary that I have learned, one for a grammar piece and another part for sentences that particularly struck me from the texts or from unrelated reading. To be honest it may not be of any use for other people on the course but it helps me to summarize some of my learning.
Lastly I hope to gradually start writing this in both English and Spanish (corrections welcome !!!) to improve my writing skills (definitely disclaimer on that !!)
I have just completed El Rumbo L140 and got a reasonable result for what I would call minimal effort. This course is tougher and does not allow for such an approach. It says in the notes that you should be doing 12-13 hours per week and after working through the first part of the book I agree that you need to keep on top of the material. My dictionary is already well thumbed.
At the bottom of each post I plan to post some articles from the web from Spanish speaking sites that struck my attention during the week.
